The material covered in this book is well written and easy to understand. Pictures and diagrams are included on each subject to back up the text. Anyone who has some basic computer and software knowledge will be able to understand and actually make repairs to laptops after reading "Easy Laptop Repairs." I am glad I purchased it and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to understand laptop repair in greater depth.

Its ok, but is very basic
Easy to understand with good illustrations. Had some good info on buying surplus computers etc. Only problem I see is that it is somewhat outdated since technology has advanced so much since 2010. but I would definitely purchase it again.
Most of the info in the book is dated, and can be found by your own searches. But this keeps all that info in one spot, you don't have to jump between web sites.
There is some good information in this book but the latest operating system was XP at the time and the author uses an IBM Think Pad for most of the examples. Some of the information such as recovering data from a hard drive is use full. Would I start a repair business after reading this book? No, but could possible solve many of my own problems and help friends. There is no information on virus removal. It was worth a read.
The information was put together in a sloppy manner. The formatting changed from project to project, which meant that this had been cut and pasted together. The pics were low resolution too, not that I needed pics, but this was obviously put together in an afternoon.
